Platelet-Rich Plasma

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has a variety of applications in aesthetic medicine. 

Applications: 

-Aging of the face, neckline and hands

-Sun damage. 

-Dilated pores, scars and acne hyperpigmentation. 

-Aging, sagging,

-Post surgical, traumatic or burn scars, stretch marks.

-Hair loss/female and male alopecia.

Benefits: Increases collagen and elastin production. Improves the quality of the skin and provides greater luminosity. Reduces fine wrinkles and expression lines. Improves the appearance of scars and stretch marks. 

On the scalp: Plasma has growth factors (within platelets) that, when introduced through microinjections, stimulate the growth of the hair follicle.

Treatment duration: 40 minutes.

Application protocol: In general it is done every 3 or 4 weeks, it is adjusted to each patient.

Procedure:

1-Blood extraction from the patient.

2-Processing and centrifugation.

3-Introduction of plasma through microinjections. We can do this with a device that has a disposable head with microneedles (DERMAPEN).
