Dermapen Microneedling

Technique performed with a DERMAPEN device that contains a head with microneedles (disposable) that penetrate the skin and produce microchannels. These multiple punctures stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, and we also take advantage of them for “drug delivery” by placing anti-aging active substances such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, depigmentants such as tranexamic acid or PLASMA RICH IN PLATELETS. The entry of the substances is uniform, the intensity and depth of the microneedles can be adjusted, so it is applied even in delicate areas such as periocular skin.

Applications: Fine wrinkles, facial rejuvenation, neckline, hands, acne or post-surgical scars, blemishes, stretch marks.

Pain: Good tolerance, if performed at a greater depth, anesthetic cream is placed 30 minutes before.

Treatment duration: 30 minutes.

Application protocol: biweekly adjusted to each patient.

Procedure: The skin is prepared, deep cleaning and asepsis of the area is carried out. The dermapen is passed while the substance to be injected is placed with a syringe. It may leave slight redness and swelling that lasts a few hours. In case of scars, minimal bleeding.
