What is PROFHILO®?
PROFHILO® is the first stabilized injectable hyaluronic acid (HA)-based product without BDDE to treat skin laxity. With one of the highest HA concentrations on the market (64 mg / 2 ml), it not only stimulates and hydrates the skin, but also helps combat sagging, dehydration and aging of the skin on the face and neck without volumizing.

What does the BAP technique consist of for the treatment of PROFHILO®?

The BAP technique was originally developed for the malar and submalar areas due to their predisposition to dermal atrophy caused by aging phenomena.

The treatment consists of injecting 5 points in the five areas of the face identified as anatomically receptive in which there are no large blood vessels or nerve branches. They are the points in the malar and submalar areas where the diffusion of the product can be maximized with minimal risk.

Today it is the most widespread and recommended protocol for the treatment of these areas. The high fluence of PROFHILO®, which does not leave irregularities in the tissues, has allowed the development of a specific BAP technique for the neck. Thanks to the unique rheological characteristics of PROFHILO®, tissues can be easily remodeled in just 2 sessions (one month apart), using all aesthetic injection techniques applicable to the superficial subcutaneous layer.

What is the application like?

To achieve the Profhilo biostimulating effect, 5 small dermal pads are made on each side, strategically located to achieve the greatest range of skin tightening. Each annual treatment consists of two applications spaced one month apart. Remember that the product achieves its boost of effect after a month and continues its biostimulation for a long time. With minimal discomfort, low inflammatory index and being able to return to daily life with minimal care, it is one of the most chosen treatments to improve luminosity, hydration and reduce skin laxity on the face, neck and other areas.
